Algedra designed newly opened restaurant in Dubai Alhumsani

Algedra Group designed the interior for the recently opened casual dining concept AlHumsani that brings the best traditions of authentic Levantine street food to Dubai.

The urban interior of the restaurant combines industrial aesthetics and biophilic elements that create a cozy, laidback atmosphere for the guest to enjoy the gastronomic journey.

The architectural simplicity of the place reinforces the intention of functionality and sustainability.

A team of designers brought together elements of nature as a core inspiration for the interior using a variety of materials and textures.
Muted terracotta brick and grey sanded concrete walls resembling stones of the mountains contrast with exposed beams, softening their industrial hint in the interior.
Restaurant has two zones for dining separated by the wall. The first sitting area includes tables with chairs in a beige color of shore sand, second zone with soft sofas in color referring to the waves of night Mediterranean waters for more laidback sitting. There is also a separate comfy corner zone dedicated to those who will make an order for taking away.
To keep the space of the restaurant bright, warm, and inviting, designers used light color wood in wall decorations and white marble countertop of the open kitchen to complement the interior.
Vibrant living walls compositions with conceptual light are the main decor accents that impose an element of nature and freshness of homemade Levantine cuisine.

Intention of the design was to keep the decor minimalist yet create a warm atmosphere facilitating intimate space for enjoying the meal. Designers succeeded in creating a pleasant ambiance interior with the materials and color palette that were chosen, taking into consideration restaurant layout, which ensures a safe distance between the tables and sitting space.

AlHumsani restaurant specializes in Levantine cuisine, which is full of flavor and has deep historical routes within the region, and Algedra team with the design has transferred the traditions into a contemporary setting.
